“What You Q’n’?” by MDC

40482As the holiday weekend nears many people are picking up products to put on their BBQ’s to enjoy and celebrate our country’s freedom. While most people are reaching for the old favorites, like burgers and dogs with potato salad and chips with dip, I am dreaming up something more. I feel that in cooking the freedom to express one’s self should be emphasized as much as possible, so I am making the most of this festive opportunity. This year I’m trying to grill some radishes that I pickled a few weeks ago and some Blue Cheese stuffed Spanish Olives. Jalepeno Peppers are another idea as well as Bacon wrapped Dates. Im going to make some Basil wrapped Tomato and Mozzarela Cheese sticks and I’m even going to grill some Caviar. These are some of the things that are changing a regular Backyard BBQ into a Gourmet Event. You really can grill just about anything, so use your imagination and you too can impress your friends at your next party!
